• Account and profile data, such as name, email address, phone number, employer or role, course selections, and account credentials handled by our platform providers.
• Enrollment and training records, such as course progress, quiz and exam attempts, scores, certificates, and PDH or continuing education records.
• Communications, such as messages sent through chat, email, phone, or contact forms, including support conversations.
• Payment-related information. Payments are handled by our checkout or learning platform providers. Velocity Training receives limited payment metadata, such as payment status, and does not store full payment card details.

3. Information collected automatically

When you use our websites or training platforms, certain information may be collected automatically by Velocity Training or our service providers.

• Device and usage information, such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages visited, referring and exit pages, timestamps, and similar usage data.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, enable analytics, secure the platform, and support site functionality.

4. Information from third parties

We may receive information from platforms and organizations involved in course delivery, payment processing, fraud prevention, or employer-sponsored training.

• Learning platforms and portals, such as our Virtual Campus, may provide training telemetry, progress information, and course records.
• Payment and fraud-prevention providers may provide transaction status updates and basic transaction metadata.
• Partners, employers, or sponsors may provide information when a company purchases seats, assigns training, or manages employee training.

6. Legal bases for EEA and UK users

Where applicable under EEA or UK privacy law, Velocity Training may process personal information based on performance of a contract, legitimate interests such as service improvement and security, consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

8. Cookies and analytics

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, enable analytics, and protect the platform. You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. However, some services may not function properly without them.

Because there is no consistent industry standard for Do-Not-Track signals, Velocity Training does not respond to DNT browser signals.

Velocity Training implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. Please protect your account credentials and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

10. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain accounts, preserve training records and certificates, comply with legal, tax, and audit requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer necessary, we take steps to delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention practices.

12. Marketing communications

You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by using an unsubscribe link or by contacting Velocity Training. Even after opting out of promotional messages, we may still send service and transactional messages, such as enrollment, account, certificate, security, and policy updates.

13. Children’s privacy

Velocity Training services are intended for individuals aged 18 and older and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact Velocity Training so appropriate steps can be taken to delete the information.

14. International users and data transfers

Velocity Training is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards for international transfers where required by applicable law.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Velocity Training may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated policies will be posted with a new effective date. When appropriate, additional notice may be provided. Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
