Online courses

Because online access is immediate and irrevocable, online course refunds are generally not provided. Documented extreme extenuating circumstances may qualify for a hold and later resume with a $50 administrative fee.

Classroom courses

30-day cancellation window

No refunds are available within 30 days of the published classroom start date. Earlier cancellations may involve administrative or materials access charges.

Conversions

Online conversion may be available

Depending on timing and whether pre-class materials were sent, some students may be able to convert to an online course of equal value to reduce or avoid certain fees.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to online courses, classroom courses, pre-registrations, and other training products provided by Velocity Training Education Solutions, LLC. By enrolling, you agree to these terms.

2. Sites covered

This policy applies to training products and related enrollments through covered Velocity Training sites and portals, including:

3. Excluded site

Safety courses hosted at vtes.otsystems.net are governed by a separate refund policy and are not covered by this page.

4. How to request a refund or conversion

All refund or conversion requests must be made in writing. Include your full name, order email, course name, purchase date, and a brief explanation. Velocity Training may request documentation for extenuating circumstances.

5. Online course refunds

Because online access is immediate and irrevocable, refunds are generally not provided.
In documented, extreme extenuating circumstances, such as Acts of Nature preventing continuation, Velocity Training may place training on hold and allow a later resume. A $50 administrative fee applies.
No refunds are provided for missed use due to work schedules, vacations, forgetfulness, lack of motivation, or similar circumstances.
If access expires and you wish to continue, you may enroll in the same course type at a 50% discount off the public list price. This also applies when changing access-length options.

6. Classroom course refunds

When you submit a registration for a scheduled classroom offering, Velocity Training reserves your seat and may adjust venue commitments. Payments are processed within 24 hours. The following rules apply.

If Velocity Training cancels

You may choose a 100% refund, typically issued within 7–10 business days, or transfer to another confirmed class date or location at no fee.
After you transfer to another confirmed class date or location, refunds are not available.

If you cancel

Within 30 days of the published class start: no refund. You may convert to a 7-day online course at no additional cost.
More than 30 days before the published class start: refund less a 20% administrative charge.
If pre-class study materials were sent before Velocity Training receives your request, the refund is reduced by a 50% materials access charge.
Alternatively, you may convert to a 60-day online course of equal value to avoid the fee.
No-shows without timely written notice are not eligible for a refund or conversion.
Transfers initiated by the student to another classroom date or location do not entitle the student to a refund or conversion to an online program and may incur fees as stated.

7. Refund method

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method only. Processing times vary by payment provider.

8. Additional notes

Administrative and materials charges are applied before calculating any refund amount.
Request timelines are determined by the timestamp of Velocity Training’s inbox receipt.
Velocity Training may update this policy. The version in effect is the version posted on the date listed above.
